Alternator Belt- Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 1 CD9A This drives both the alternator AND the water pump so if this goes stop the car straight away. If this belt snaps not only does your alternator stop charging your battery, you also lose the water pump so no engine cooling AND as the water pump drives the power steering pump on a separate belt you lose that as well so it's the most important of the 3 auxilliary belts.
